Focusing in particular on youth magazines and printed media, the exhibition reveals how propaganda was designed to feel familiar, persuasive, and authoritative to its intended audience. Visitors are encouraged to look closely at how bias is constructed, how influence operates, and how young people were positioned as both targets and participants in a broader ideological project.
While grounded in history, Age of Influence speaks directly to contemporary concerns around media literacy, misinformation, and critical thinking. The exhibition creates space for reflection and discussion, connecting historical propaganda to present-day conversations about influence, power, and responsibility in media consumption.
